Club Atlético Camafeo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Ermegildo Plaza scored to the left of an out of position Uriel Gazmuri, making the score, 1-0. Stanton Faulkner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro José Hucke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ermegildo Plaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Plaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Gazmuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jose Anabalon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro José Hucke in the 18th minute of play forced Barrancas CF's goalkeeper Stanton Faulkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Club Atlético Camafeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Roger to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Barrancas CF booed when Club Atlético Camafeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermín Fedorov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Ballesteros's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Camafeo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrancas CF's Juan Jose Deppe got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute Pedro José Hucke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanton Faulkner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas CF's goalkeeper Stanton Faulkner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro José Hucke took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stanton Faulkner. Stanton Faulkner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Jose Deppe made a kick off. If Pedro José Hucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Camafeo's Jose Anabalon got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro José Hucke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Barrancas CF's Stanton Faulkner got control of the ball when Edilberto Salgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanton Faulkner made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Jose Anabalon sent off a good shot on target. Fermín Fedorov kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Barrancas CF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pedro José Hucke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro José Hucke in the 88th minute of play forced Barrancas CF's goalkeeper Stanton Faulkner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro José Hucke struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Stanton Faulkner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Camafeo. After having played for 93 minutes, Pedro José Hucke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Camafeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro José Hucke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atlético Camafeo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Barrancas CF had controlled the match.
