In the 5th minute Raymundo Soto Tapia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Dol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Nicolas Fedeghelli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicanor Pérez. Míticos's Angelo Dol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Martinovic in the 13th minute of play. BlackBuin Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Luis Chavarria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Modesto Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Míticos defense, Pau Casanova kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Dol. The Míticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Dol should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Míticos's Angelo Dol got control of the ball when Pau Casanova tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Dol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raymundo Soto Tapia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 67 minute of play. Nicanor Pérez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliazar Muzard's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Juan Luis Chavarria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Dol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Juan Alfonso Cristi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Pérez having to interfere. Raymundo Soto Tapia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Angelo Dol made a huge save. Angelo Dol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The BlackBuin Rovers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
