In the 5thth minute of the game Yeray Berger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TetasGang's Israel Aranguea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureo Estévez in the 7th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, U de Chile's Roland Vaccia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Israel Aranguea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aureo Estévez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Luis Alberto Gaviño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureo Estévez in the 22nd minute of play forced U de Chile's goalkeeper Luis Alberto Gaviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karlos Nordman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Alberto Gaviño having to interfere. Félix Santana-Bauzá hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureo Estévez in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Alberto Gaviño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aureo Estévez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Karlos Nordman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Yeray Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Aranguea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yeray Berger in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yeray Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute Yeray Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Aranguea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
