If Anselmo Mac Rae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tambo FC's Jonas Pays proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Tambo FC from getting a goal against them. If Anselmo Mac Rae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Tambo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rexino Olivar came free, but Jonas Pays reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Musalem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jonas Pays made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Deportes Iquique's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Angel Aravena came free, but Guido Vivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportes Iquique's goalkeeper Guido Vivero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Vivero was a little too slow when Xavier Angel Aravena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-3. 62 minutes into the game, Florencio Musalem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jonas Pays was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Florencio Musalem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportes Iquique fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Giancarlo Grau scored 3-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Pays, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Musalem during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tambo FC booed when Deportes Iquique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tambo FC's Jeronimo Dahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Angel Aravena in the 89th minute of play forced Deportes Iquique's goalkeeper Guido Vivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Anselmo Mac Rae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ireno Ordaz hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jonas Pays showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Musalem in the 96th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
