Aldo Abuauad's late challenge caught a EXCOMULGADO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Abuauad helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo Abuauad kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Duplijsa! When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, EXCOMULGADO FC's Alcides Echazarreta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vincente Barbaste. After 25 minutes of play, EXCOMULGADO FC's Juan Miguel Granado made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincente Barbaste was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, EXCOMULGADO FC's Rogerio Daldos got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Ignacio Pascuala fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EXCOMULGADO FC's protests and gave Ignacio Pascuala a yellow card for diving instead. Ignacio Pascuala kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Vincente Barbaste was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Pascuala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. Lautaro Espejo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Juan Miguel Granado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vincente Barbaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Ocon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Ocon in the 56th minute of play forced Duplijsa's goalkeeper Vincente Barbaste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Anastasio Ocon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Barbaste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juan Miguel Granado came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the EXCOMULGADO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Miguel Granado couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Duplijsa! Alcides Echazarreta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 66 played minutes Duplijsa got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Sagredo. Duplijsa's Vincente Barbaste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Ocon in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Leonides Torrijos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duplijsa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EXCOMULGADO FC the free kick. Leonides Torrijos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Marciano Dudagoitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. EXCOMULGADO FC's Wilfredo Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelius Ledea in the 75th minute of play. Vincente Barbaste stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Miguel Granado's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to EXCOMULGADO FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alcides Echazarreta hit a great ball. In the 89th play minute Marciano Dudagoitia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilfredo Montes. 4-2. In the 94th minute, Marciano Dudagoitia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Montes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The EXCOMULGADO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Duplijsa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
