The referee ignored Levineta's protests and gave Andrés Taylor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Levineta booed when Huajacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertrán Feldman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 93 minutes, Bertrán Feldman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huajacia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertrán Feldman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Armanet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Huajacia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Huajacia may have spent more time on the ball, but Levineta were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
