In the 18th match minute, CF Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magdaleno Goyeneche to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, CF Nacional's goalkeeper Bernardino Barria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cucu Gol. Bernardino Barria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Odol Huaiquiman in the 28th minute. Cucu Gol struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Bernardino Barria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona B. Bernardino Barria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucu Gol in the 33rd minute of the match. When Odol Huaiquiman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the FC Barcelona B fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odol Huaiquiman couldn't finish the play. Salvatore Chauriye hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Anders was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Barcelona B got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pradenas. Magdaleno Goyeneche's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magdaleno Goyeneche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CF Nacional getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Magdaleno Goyeneche hit a great ball. Odol Huaiquiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Barria having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CF Nacional's Enzo Anders got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Enzo Anders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Epifanío Vos de Vos made a huge save. Bernardino Barria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odol Huaiquiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 89 played minutes CF Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Chauriye. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cucu Gol in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Barria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 played minutes CF Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Peirano.
