Spectators: 8040 (Terracing: 6031, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benjamín Squella kicked off to start the match. After 3 played minutes Franco canadience got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Stuven. Rollo Gavilán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Señoret in the 9th minute of play. Tobías Aramayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Franco canadience's Tobías Aramayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rollo Gavilán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Diego Leal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 14 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rollo Gavilán was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Duao's Rollo Gavilán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Señoret in the 16th minute of play. Rollo Gavilán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Leal in the 17th minute. Emiliano Bozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Antonio Aldana in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Franco canadience's Aníbal Señoret sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rollo Gavilán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Angelino Zubelzu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamín Squella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rollo Gavilán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Bozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lander Basualto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Duao got a freekick which was hit by Topocho Ayarza. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Benjamín Squella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco canadience's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamín Squella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rollo Gavilán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Diego Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lander Basualto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Diego Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Duao's zone, Tobías Aramayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rollo Gavilán came out of the goal and Tobías Aramayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco canadience's Marc Abrigo was substituted for Tobías Aramayo. 71 minutes into the match, Franco canadience's Marc Abrigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rollo Gavilán narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamín Squella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rollo Gavilán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamín Squella in the 74th minute of play. Aníbal Señoret kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Marc Abrigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Señoret's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rollo Gavilán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play.
