Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josué Iriberry took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th match minute, Terremoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magdaleno Echegoyen to maneuver through the defense. Josué Iriberry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Iriberry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Victoriano having to interfere. Josué Iriberry charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josué Iriberry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilberto Victoriano made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Valentín Vicencio sent off a good shot on target. In the 25thth minute of the game Josué Iriberry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terremoto's Gilberto Victoriano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Josué Iriberry kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Victoriano. That made the score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. After 36 played minutes Terremoto got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Alberto Manieu. Marcel Menart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermelando Briceño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Menart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermelando Briceño, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Terremoto's Paulo Agudo suffered a sore thigh after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 46 minutes into the game, Patxi Echandia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guanguali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terremoto the free kick. Patxi Echandia kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After a defensive mix-up in Terremoto's zone, Josué Iriberry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Victoriano came out of the goal and Josué Iriberry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Valentín Vicencio came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Guanguali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentín Vicencio couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Terremoto's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Iriberry came free, but Gilberto Victoriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Bacheler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Terremoto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Bacheler to maneuver through the defense. When Giancarlo Vela came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Guanguali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giancarlo Vela couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Terremoto got a freekick which was hit by Siluna Charme. After a defensive mix-up in Guanguali's zone, Siluna Charme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Menart came out of the goal and Siluna Charme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Garnham made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Terremoto's Siluna Charme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Iriberry in the 80th minute of play forced Terremoto's goalkeeper Gilberto Victoriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Hermelando Briceño rounded Guanguali's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Gilberto Victoriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Iriberry, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Terremoto's Gilberto Victoriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Iriberry in the 87th minute of play. If Hermelando Briceño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Terremoto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guanguali.
