Epifanío Vos de Vos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Rondón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Odol Huaiquiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cucu Gol came free, but Frédéric Chopin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frédéric Chopin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cucu Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Epifanío Vos de Vos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Espina in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona B's zone, Álvaro Yanque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanío Vos de Vos came out of the goal and Álvaro Yanque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, Valle Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Rondón to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Valle Verde FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Salbatore Grez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cucu Gol in the 36th minute of play forced Valle Verde FC's goalkeeper Frédéric Chopin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Odol Huaiquiman fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona B's protests and gave Odol Huaiquiman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Barcelona B getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Odol Huaiquiman hit a great ball. Gustavo Armstrong kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After the first half Valle Verde FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Frédéric Chopin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cucu Gol's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Cucu Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cucu Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Odol Huaiquiman in the 60th minute of play forced Valle Verde FC's goalkeeper Frédéric Chopin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odol Huaiquiman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frédéric Chopin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odol Huaiquiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes Valle Verde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Heliodoro Astete who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Barcelona B's corner Heliodoro Astete fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frédéric Chopin quite easily take care of the ball. Epifanío Vos de Vos came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Valle Verde FC's Patricio Espina. But to his dismay, Patricio Espina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Odol Huaiquiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Frédéric Chopin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédéric Chopin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cucu Gol in the 84th minute of play. Epifanío Vos de Vos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Espina in the 86th minute. Gustavo Armstrong kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
