After 4 played minutes, Guanguali's Giancarlo Vela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şükrü Erek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guanguali reached it. If Teddy Goleš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Menart made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Leopoldo Zañartu sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Marcel Menart successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Teddy Goleš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's Emmanuel Antoine dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Guanguali's Marcel Menart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Goleš in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Teddy Goleš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Menart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's Şükrü Erek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Vela in the 33rd minute of play. Teddy Goleš's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel Menart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leopoldo Zañartu could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Marcel Menart however easily saved by the left post. Emmanuel Antoine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marcel Menart made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Goleš to make the kick off. Emmanuel Antoine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Menart having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Goleš in the 56th minute of play forced Guanguali's goalkeeper Marcel Menart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Baldomiro Lemonde hit a great ball. Leopoldo Zañartu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marcel Menart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS made a substitution. Gerónimo Maquieira replaced José Ignacio Hanssen. Inocente Ayerdi's late challenge caught a FUTBOL CLUB CHILOE UNIDOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocente Ayerdi helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Guanguali got a freekick which was hit by Inocente Ayerdi. Inocente Ayerdi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guanguali's zone, Gilabert Liquiñano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Menart came out of the goal and Gilabert Liquiñano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emmanuel Antoine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Guanguali's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Antoine came free, but Marcel Menart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Pardow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcel Menart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
