Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Josué Iriberry took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adelino Garnham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Guanguali fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Guanguali's Josué Iriberry looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Iriberry in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rollo Gavilán saved Duao from getting behind. Josué Iriberry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rollo Gavilán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damián Encina hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Guanguali's Valentín Vicencio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rollo Gavilán. Rollo Gavilán yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 34 minutes of play, Duao's Francisco Antonio Aldana made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Menart was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rollo Gavilán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Iriberry's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Francisco Antonio Aldana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Marcel Menart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Duao's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Iriberry came free, but Rollo Gavilán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lander Basualto was the one to do the kick off. Angelino Zubelzu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Giancarlo Vela hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Giancarlo Vela came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Guanguali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giancarlo Vela couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Guanguali's goalkeeper Marcel Menart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Antonio Aldana. After a rather tough play, Guanguali's Patxi Echandia got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Duao got a freekick which was hit by Eric Landman. Guanguali's Marcel Menart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Guanguali from getting a goal against them. Francisco Antonio Aldana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Josué Iriberry came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Guanguali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Iriberry couldn't finish the play. Rollo Gavilán stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Iriberry's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Lander Basualto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guanguali had won after a very even match.
