In the 20th minute of the match, Tobías Aramayo sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Frédéric Chopin showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Laureano Zambrano's late challenge caught a Franco canadience's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Zambrano helped the player get up and apologised. Frédéric Chopin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tobías Aramayo. 36 minutes into the match, Valle Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobías Aramayo came free, but Frédéric Chopin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Álvaro Yanque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Bozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 78th minute, Aníbal Señoret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frédéric Chopin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Marc Abrigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Frédéric Chopin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédéric Chopin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Leal in the 84th minute of play. Frédéric Chopin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Franco canadience had won after a very even match.
