Atlético Norte's Cresenciano Landea got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Luis Pereira during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Atlético Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Fernando Soza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barrabases FC's zone, Igor Tassara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvatore Saa came out of the goal and Igor Tassara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Oñez y Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Tassara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Salvatore Saa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Hipolito Pardow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrabases FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Norte the free kick. The supporters of Atlético Norte booed when Barrabases FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Pardow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Dibarrart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Atlético Norte were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Barrabases FC to leave the ground with a draw.
