When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Deporte Provincial Osorno's Boleslaw Puszynski got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomasino Briones. Tomasino Briones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastiaro Seña in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Macaquiño fc's goalkeeper Tomasino Briones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo Mangueira. Luís Gustavo Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Deporte Provincial Osorno booed when Macaquiño fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Angel Tiñoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasino Briones prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Deporte Provincial Osorno fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Deporte Provincial Osorno's Luís Gustavo Mangueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luís Gustavo Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasino Briones having to make a save. With a little luck, Macaquiño fc's Tomasino Briones got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Gustavo Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasino Briones having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Luís Gustavo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deporte Provincial Osorno's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasino Briones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Gustavo Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasino Briones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomasino Briones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 27th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomasino Briones having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Mangueira got free with Tomasino Briones in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luís Gustavo Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasino Briones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute, Camilo Gerbella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luís Gustavo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomasino Briones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Gustavo Mangueira's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes, Luís Gustavo Mangueira made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Macaquiño fc's Tomasino Briones tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruesga Reinoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bastiaro Seña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasino Briones was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some careless play in the Macaquiño fc defense, Boleslaw Puszynski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomasino Briones. The Macaquiño fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomasino Briones should have stopped the shot. Luís Gustavo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Tomasino Briones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomasino Briones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 72nd minute of the match. Bastiaro Seña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasino Briones having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Gustavo Mangueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasino Briones was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Luís Gustavo Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Macaquiño fc's Tomasino Briones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 80th minute of play. Guido Sologuren struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tomasino Briones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deporte Provincial Osorno. Remigio Balart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Claudio Bravo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st match minute, Deporte Provincial Osorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafín Parrasia to maneuver through the defense. Bermejo Darrigrande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
