Little Foxes's 潘星乐 got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juanito Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 潘星乐, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Odol Campillo was slow to take the kick. During this time Mariachi FC's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Little Foxes's zone, Marcos Arbieto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Graupe came out of the goal and Marcos Arbieto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Lucas Barrios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juanito Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Graupe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 46th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The referee ignored Little Foxes's protests and gave Lucián Lizana Lezana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Mariachi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Kolano to maneuver through the defense. Moises Guerau took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juanito Perez. Juanito Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Little Foxes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
