With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Mistral in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate saved MC42 from getting behind. Marco Mistral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Cuenca got free with Taka Levidze in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Enric Blanch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Mistral in the 15th minute of the match. PROTON F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Mistral in the 16th minute. The PROTON F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when PROTON F.C.'s Marco Mistral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luis Alberto Dagnino sped through MC42's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate. MC42's Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enric Blanch in the 27th minute of play. Marco Mistral took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 31st minute, Marco Mistral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 35th minute, Aníbal Veliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PROTON F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Mistral's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MC42's zone, Marco Mistral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate came out of the goal and Marco Mistral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Luis Alberto Dagnino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate. MC42's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Alberto Dagnino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After having played for 45 minutes, Luis Alberto Dagnino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PROTON F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Alberto Dagnino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Mistral was the one to do the kick off. Marco Mistral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luis Alberto Dagnino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 53 minute of play. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate was a little too slow when Enric Blanch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-11. Enric Blanch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PROTON F.C.'s Juan Carlos Caticura got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Mistral in the 83rd minute. Samuel Cuenca charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Cuenca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuel Cuenca kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When PROTON F.C.'s Marco Mistral in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MC42's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Francisco Martínez de Aldunate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enric Blanch in the 97th minute. PROTON F.C. played a much better game than MC42 and deserved their victory. The MC42 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
