Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Desiderio Basaure made the kick off and thus started the match. Hernán Pablo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Maurilio Mateluna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Hernán Pablo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Morichal FC's Maurilio Mateluna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Universidad de Chile's goalkeeper Juan Estevan Gerbella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desiderio Basaure. Desiderio Basaure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurilio Mateluna came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Universidad de Chile's Hernán Pablo. But to his dismay, Hernán Pablo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Hernán Pablo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Universidad de Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Pablo couldn't finish the play. Maurilio Mateluna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernán Pablo in the 26th minute of play. Juan Estevan Gerbella made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Desiderio Basaure sent off a good shot on target. Desiderio Basaure took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Estevan Gerbella. Juan Estevan Gerbella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Universidad de Chile booed when Morichal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriel Zunino didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Universidad de Chile getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hernán Pablo hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Universidad de Chile's Hernán Pablo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurilio Mateluna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Desiderio Basaure left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morichal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cresenciano Martínez Lamas got free with Juan Estevan Gerbella in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Universidad de Chile's Juan Estevan Gerbella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Basaure in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernán Pablo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Morichal FC's Maurilio Mateluna got control of the ball when Hernán Pablo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 minutes of play Morichal FC's Adriel Zunino was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 58th minute, Adriel Zunino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Estevan Gerbella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cresenciano Martínez Lamas went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Marc Colipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Estevan Gerbella having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Sebastiano Quero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Estevan Gerbella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cresenciano Martínez Lamas in the 73rd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Universidad de Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Carreto came free, but Juan Estevan Gerbella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Morichal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Pablo came free, but Maurilio Mateluna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayron Maralla kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Marc Colipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
