Spectators: 8268 (Terracing: 6200, Seating: 1900, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Franco Bauzá took the kick off in the first half of the match. Freire FC's Stefano Escalona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Freire FC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the game, Fidel Orostegui recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefano Escalona. Fidel Orostegui showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Franco Bauzá took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Gustavo. Rubens Gustavo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bernardo Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Freire FC's Stefano Escalona got control of the ball when Bernardo Camacho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Orostegui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefano Escalona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Gabriel Millar put in a rough tackle. Rubens Gustavo had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Remi Matus's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Fidel Orostegui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rubens Gustavo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Rovers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Bauzá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Orostegui was the one to do the kick off. Stefano Escalona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Gibbs in the 52nd minute of play. Malditos FC's Fidel Orostegui got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Freire FC's zone, Rafa Gibbs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefano Escalona came out of the goal and Rafa Gibbs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Orostegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Apparcel kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Freire FC's Franco Bauzá in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malditos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, Fidel Orostegui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malditos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Rubens Gustavo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Bauzá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Rafa Gibbs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malditos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Gibbs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafa Gibbs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Stefano Escalona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malditos FC's Rubens Gustavo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Malditos FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Malditos FC's Rubens Gustavo got control of the ball when Omar Rovers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Bauzá struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rubens Gustavo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Freire FC. Fidel Orostegui took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefano Escalona. Stefano Escalona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 89 minutes into the match, Freire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Orostegui came free, but Stefano Escalona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Malditos FC's goalkeeper Rubens Gustavo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Rovers. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malditos FC had played much better football throughout.
