Moisés Ossandon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 7th playminute. A collision led to MFD Eindhoven getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Moisés Ossandon hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that José Alberto Lerga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Domínguez was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL RUBIO FC's goalkeeper Laureano Domínguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, EL RUBIO FC's Laureano Domínguez got control of the ball when Moisés Ossandon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, José Alberto Lerga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MFD Eindhoven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Moisés Ossandon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laureano Domínguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Ossandon in the 22nd minute. The supporters of MFD Eindhoven booed when EL RUBIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Camacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Domínguez made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when José Alberto Lerga sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, MFD Eindhoven's José Alberto Lerga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Domínguez. Laureano Domínguez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Bo Björklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Domínguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Björklund ran back to his position shaking his head. José Alberto Lerga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Domínguez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MFD Eindhoven's José Alberto Lerga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. EL RUBIO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when José Alberto Lerga scored to the left of an out of position Laureano Domínguez, making the score, 6-0. When Moisés Ossandon came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MFD Eindhoven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Ossandon couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Moisés Ossandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Laureano Domínguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MFD Eindhoven made a substitution. Albin García replaced Jhon Wisgerhof. In the 63rd minute, Moisés Ossandon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laureano Domínguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Björklund's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Laureano Domínguez came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by MFD Eindhoven's Moisés Ossandon. But to his dismay, Moisés Ossandon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. If Alcadio Garachena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MFD Eindhoven's Moisés Ossandon got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moisés Ossandon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laureano Domínguez having to make a save. MFD Eindhoven's Erasmo Orozco was substituted for Francisco Miguel Sotta. In the 92nd minute, Serafín Borja ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Domínguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. When the referee ended the match the MFD Eindhoven players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
