Claudio Mele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Björklund in the 9th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on MFD Eindhoven's corner Isaiás Pareja fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudio Mele quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, CF Eleven Lions 2007's Arif Gaffar Uluant got a free kick in the 19th minute. Claudio Mele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Alberto Lerga in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Savier Milroy got free with Dagoberto Cameno in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dagoberto Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the MFD Eindhoven defense, Dalmacio Blai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dagoberto Cameno. The MFD Eindhoven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dagoberto Cameno should have stopped the shot. Dagoberto Cameno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savier Milroy in the 29th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by MFD Eindhoven's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaston Cabrito was slow to take the kick. During this time CF Eleven Lions 2007's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CF Eleven Lions 2007's corner Gaston Cabrito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dagoberto Cameno quite easily take care of the ball. After 38 played minutes MFD Eindhoven got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Ossandon. In the 39th minute, Dalmacio Blai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, MFD Eindhoven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Ossandon to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Alberto Lerga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, MFD Eindhoven's Moisés Ossandon got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ivo Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Albin García replaced Jhon Wisgerhof. The audience was convinced that José Alberto Lerga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Mele was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Claudio Mele made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Alberto Lerga in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Johansson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dagoberto Cameno saved MFD Eindhoven from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in CF Eleven Lions 2007's zone, Moisés Ossandon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Mele came out of the goal and Moisés Ossandon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MFD Eindhoven booed when CF Eleven Lions 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remi Parodi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
