Saint Sophia's Diego Marinkovic got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Higinio Quiroz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of EL RUBIO FC's Laureano Domínguez. Laureano Domínguez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Kiliz Gonzáles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laureano Domínguez, 4-0. In the 22nd match minute, EL RUBIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcadio Garachena to maneuver through the defense. Diego Marinkovic was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcel Galarce kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Laureano Domínguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiliz Gonzáles in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, EL RUBIO FC's goalkeeper Laureano Domínguez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiliz Gonzáles. 40 minutes into the game, Saint Sophia's Kiliz Gonzáles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Domínguez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the game, Juan Eduardo Montesinos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL RUBIO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Sophia the free kick. A collision led to EL RUBIO FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Juan Eduardo Montesinos hit a great ball. In the 58th minute of the match, Alcadio Garachena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nedas Gol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 61 minutes into the match, EL RUBIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiliz Gonzáles came free, but Laureano Domínguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nedas Gol made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alcadio Garachena sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Alcadio Garachena made a precise shot to the right of Nedas Gol. Saint Sophia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After 67 minutes of play, Saint Sophia's Diego Marinkovic made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Domínguez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Archibaldo Mundaca hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Laureano Domínguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiliz Gonzáles in the 71st minute of the match. Nedas Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Parot in the 80th minute of play. Alcadio Garachena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, EL RUBIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Quiroz came free, but Laureano Domínguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcadio Garachena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nedas Gol made a huge save. Saint Sophia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
