In the 14thth minute of the game Archibaldo Mundaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL RUBIO FC's Laureano Domínguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julián Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 19 minutes, Kiliz Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Sophia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiliz Gonzáles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Diego Marinkovic cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Laureano Domínguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Ávila during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcel Galarce kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saint Sophia's zone, Cerilo Barriga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nedas Gol came out of the goal and Cerilo Barriga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, EL RUBIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiliz Gonzáles came free, but Laureano Domínguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Domínguez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiliz Gonzáles's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Kiliz Gonzáles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Domínguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saint Sophia's Nedas Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alcadio Garachena in the 38th minute of play. Florencio Parot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nedas Gol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Domínguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiliz Gonzáles in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcadio Garachena in the 45th minute of play forced Saint Sophia's goalkeeper Nedas Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Kiliz Gonzáles made the kick off in the second half. Kiliz Gonzáles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Kiliz Gonzáles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Laureano Domínguez made a huge save. Kiliz Gonzáles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Laureano Domínguez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nedas Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcadio Garachena in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Marinkovic in the 70th minute of play forced EL RUBIO FC's goalkeeper Laureano Domínguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiliz Gonzáles let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 73rd minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. Florencio Parot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nedas Gol having to interfere. Diego Marinkovic's late challenge caught a EL RUBIO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Marinkovic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Saint Sophia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Marinkovic to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saint Sophia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
