In the 10th minute Dalmacio Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Saúl Cortés saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CF Eleven Lions 2007 were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Savier Milroy took the corner. CF Eleven Lions 2007's Savier Milroy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Saúl Cortés in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Carlos Saúl Cortés made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bairon Berger in the 12th minute. Carlos Saúl Cortés showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairon Berger in the 15th minute of the match. Bairon Berger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carlos Saúl Cortés made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Savier Milroy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carlos Saúl Cortés was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Alberto Gaviño came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. Luis Alberto Gaviño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Carlos Saúl Cortés made a huge save. With a little luck, Academia Juvenil Wenumapu's Carlos Saúl Cortés got control of the ball when Bairon Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luis Alberto Gaviño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CF Eleven Lions 2007's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
