Máximo Baesler made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Luís Fernando Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. 7 minutes into the match, 1868's goalkeeper Máximo Baesler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Oliveira. Máximo Baesler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fernando Oliveira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Luís Fernando Oliveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Máximo Baesler made a huge save. The supporters of 1868 booed when Pichuleitors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geofredo Arciego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fernando Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Máximo Baesler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pichuleitors FC. After 22 played minutes Pichuleitors FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Pazols. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Fernando Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Máximo Baesler. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Pichuleitors FC booed when 1868 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1868's Máximo Baesler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save 1868 from getting a goal against them. When Oscar Ruiz fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1868's protests and gave Oscar Ruiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Oscar Ruiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Máximo Baesler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Oliveira in the 37th minute of the match. Máximo Baesler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alifonso Irisarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Pichuleitors FC's Lolo Cares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodemo Lillo in the 39th minute of play. Luís Fernando Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Alifonso Irisarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Baesler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Alifonso Irisarri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Baesler was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fernando Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Máximo Baesler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Fernando Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Máximo Baesler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fernando Oliveira in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Pichuleitors FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Flavio Frey hit a great ball. When Pichuleitors FC's Alifonso Irisarri in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1868's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute, Luís Fernando Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Máximo Baesler. 1868's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 87 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Máximo Baesler. 1868's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fernando Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Lolo Cares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodemo Lillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Lolo Cares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodemo Lillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rollo Jaime's late challenge caught a Pichuleitors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rollo Jaime helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Rollo Jaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pichuleitors FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
