Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xaiver Besa. 13 minutes into the match, Real Santiago's goal looked a bit too open when Romualdo Hetz came free, but Alejandro Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Raffo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintán Torrijos got free with Ferrán Suarez in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of C.D. Pepino’s booed when Real Santiago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez got control of the ball when Quintán Torrijos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norino Zuasnabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Seme having to interfere. Real Santiago's Alejandro Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdo Hetz in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Norino Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
