In the 31st minute, one of Coquimbo Unido:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Coquimbo Unido. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Athletic Club Larrondo. Luís Gustavo Madureira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Renato Bonvallet. 0-9. Silviano Maccioni charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviano Maccioni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silviano Maccioni hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Coquimbo Unido's Renato Bonvallet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 37th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coquimbo Unido's Renato Bonvallet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vladimiro Elizardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Coquimbo Unido's Renato Bonvallet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 53rd minute of play. A hard shot 55 in the game by Luís Gustavo Madureira from a close distance when the talented Renato Bonvallet managed to make a qualified save. Coquimbo Unido's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Athletic Club Larrondo's Cecilio Nolibuat got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 96th minute, Jerry Lewis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Bonvallet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19. Athletic Club Larrondo played a much better game than Coquimbo Unido and deserved their victory. The Coquimbo Unido players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
