Xabier Lapierres short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Buchi Yu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Oliverio Moñiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Xabier Lapierre could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Buchi Yu however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Coquimbo Unido's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Jesus Vicencio came free, but Renato Bonvallet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Horacio Jesus Vicencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Bonvallet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eleazar Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renato Bonvallet having to make a save. In the 85thth minute of the game Oliverio Moñiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coquimbo Unido's Renato Bonvallet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliverio Moñiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Bonvallet having to interfere. Renato Bonvallet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Jesus Vicencio's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. A collision led to Coquimbo Unido getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alfredo Mac Rostie hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Coquimbo Unido defense, Horacio Jesus Vicencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renato Bonvallet. The Coquimbo Unido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renato Bonvallet should have stopped the shot.
