Luís Gustavo Madureira took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Buchi Yu. Buchi Yu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luís Gustavo Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Buchi Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Elizardo in the 14th minute of play forced Deportivo San Pedro's goalkeeper Buchi Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Montenegro lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 27 minutes of play, Athletic Club Larrondo's Jamil Habibi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Buchi Yu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Gustavo Madureira's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Buchi Yu - 0-4 was put on the score board in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute Jamil Habibi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Buchi Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo San Pedro defense, Jamil Habibi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buchi Yu. The Deportivo San Pedro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buchi Yu should have stopped the shot. Horacio Jesus Vicencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Jesus Vicencio to make the kick off. Buchi Yu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Madureira in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Jamil Habibi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Buchi Yu, 0-6. The supporters of Athletic Club Larrondo booed when Deportivo San Pedro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaume Jorquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Athletic Club Larrondo's Buchi Yu threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vladimiro Elizardo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jamil Habibi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Buchi Yu made a huge save. Buchi Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Elizardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Buchi Yu was a little too slow when Asier Demanet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-7. Horacio Jesus Vicencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Frick having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Lewis got free with Buchi Yu in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonso Cañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Athletic Club Larrondo's Asier Demanet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Buchi Yu. That made the score 0-8 after 86 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Athletic Club Larrondo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Deportivo San Pedro.
