Salvador Huaiquiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Manuel Lameirinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Marcelo Peebles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Román Hoefler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Osasun Leys quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-11. Adelino Mesina kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osasun Leys in the 94th minute of play forced SANEANDO EL CLUB's goalkeeper José Marcelo Peebles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Curicó-Unido could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SANEANDO EL CLUB throughout the match.
