The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elazar Alzerreca. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. Yan Zhi Chuan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. In the 34thth minute of the game Yan Zhi Chuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marquesas AFC's Elazar Alzerreca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Hüseyin Rahmi Toper managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hilario Guerola in the 35 minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Marquesas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Zhi Chuan came free, but Elazar Alzerreca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan Zhi Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elazar Alzerreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 38th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Yan Zhi Chuan made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elazar Alzerreca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yan Zhi Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elazar Alzerreca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Zhi Chuan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Raimundo Tupper was substituted for Yan Zhi Chuan. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's attentive Antonio Gorri managed to snatch the ball when Santiago Rumie made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. After 63 minutes, Raimundo Tupper made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marquesas AFC's Elazar Alzerreca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Elazar Alzerreca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Tupper went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. After 70 minutes of play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Jacinto Gebhard made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elazar Alzerreca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Tupper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elazar Alzerreca having to interfere. Elazar Alzerreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Tupper in the 74th minute of play. Hilario Guerola made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Hüseyin Rahmi Toper. Elazar Alzerreca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Tupper's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Nordman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Raimundo Tupper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Tupper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elazar Alzerreca was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Qu Zheng Song struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Elazar Alzerreca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportes Santa Cruz. In the 94th minute, Rodrigo Nordman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
