With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon María Guisado in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elazar Alzerreca saved Marquesas AFC from getting behind. Ramon María Guisado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Romano Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Guerola kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Marquesas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezmundo Osorio came free, but Elazar Alzerreca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Romano Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elazar Alzerreca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elazar Alzerreca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon María Guisado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Ramon María Guisado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elazar Alzerreca. Marquesas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon María Guisado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 20 minutes into the game, Deportivo Lirayén's Romano Bautista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elazar Alzerreca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the Marquesas AFC defense, Romano Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elazar Alzerreca. The Marquesas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elazar Alzerreca should have stopped the shot. Elazar Alzerreca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon María Guisado in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon María Guisado in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elazar Alzerreca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulryk Redisz took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elazar Alzerreca. Elazar Alzerreca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 42nd minute, Santiago Rumie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ramon María Guisado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Ramon María Guisado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elazar Alzerreca having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Lirayén getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ulryk Redisz hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Marquesas AFC got a corner. Deportivo Lirayén's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hilario Guerola ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hilario Guerola made a great header on Marquesas AFC's corner, it was just that Deportivo Lirayén's Salbatore Adelsdorfer managed to reach the ball for a save. 57 minutes into the match, Marquesas AFC's goalkeeper Elazar Alzerreca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon María Guisado. In the 60th minute, Rodrigo Nordman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon María Guisado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Elazar Alzerreca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elazar Alzerreca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romano Bautista went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Deportivo Lirayén made a substitution. Paulino Naranjo replaced Ramon María Guisado. In the 70th match minute, Deportivo Lirayén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Orlando Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Marquesas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamín Pincheira to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Erik Segarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Romano Bautista took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Elazar Alzerreca to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Naranjo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elazar Alzerreca. That made the score 0-8 in the 78 minute of play. Paulino Naranjo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Elazar Alzerreca 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Romano Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elazar Alzerreca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Marquesas AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezmundo Osorio was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Lirayén's players had a chance to rest. Paulino Naranjo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Elazar Alzerreca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Paulino Naranjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Lirayén left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marquesas AFC.
