In the 13th minute, one of Concepción:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Concepción. After a rather tough play, Concepción's Rainerio Peñaranda got a free kick in the 17th minute. Concepción's Urtsín Waugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Ramon Barbero in the 24th minute of play. If Tauro Fanta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Marco Nordenflycht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Mario Alvar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urtsín Waugh was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Macaria F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Tauro Fanta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urtsín Waugh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jose Ramon Barbero made the kick off in the second half. Tauro Fanta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtsín Waugh having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Jose Ramon Barbero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macaria F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Ramon Barbero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Canitrot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicens Ansieta came out and tried to block the shot, but Aníbal Canitrot slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 59th minute. After 63 played minutes Concepción's Abel Hoefler stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Vicens Ansieta stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Macaria F.C of the goal. Vicens Ansieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Canitrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tauro Fanta in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urtsín Waugh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Macaria F.C's Tauro Fanta suffered a concussion in the 77th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Disvandis Orella during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Concepción was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Disvandis Orella to maneuver through the defense. Eric Martinich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macaria F.C's Jose Ramon Barbero got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urtsín Waugh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Alvar's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Jose Ramon Barbero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urtsín Waugh having to interfere. Eric Martinich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Macaria F.C's Bayron Daguerressar got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Macaria F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
