The Dragones Celestes fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Dragones Celestes's Angelo Cuevas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Everardo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Cuevas in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Custódio to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Cuevas came free, but Everardo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Cañas to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Cañas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Altay Dağdelen made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Loreto Antoine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Tohias Alavedra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Ado. Algarrobo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tohias Alavedra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Angelo Cuevas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Cuevas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Angelo Cuevas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutenio Nilo kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Angelo Cuevas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Everardo Ado made a huge save. Dragones Celestes's Altay Dağdelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Marchetti in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Armando Lamb in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Altay Dağdelen saved Dragones Celestes from getting behind. Tohias Alavedra hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragones Celestes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Algarrobo's players had a chance to rest. 85 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Marchetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Altay Dağdelen. Dragones Celestes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Marchetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 94th minute Dragones Celestes were awarded a corner. Tohias Alavedra went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Emilio Felipe Quintupran managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
