CRUZ DEL SUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Estefan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Augusto Estefan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Balboa was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Orfilio Orbañanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orfilio Orbañanos to make the kick off. Orfilio Orbañanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Zachariasz Dudkowski made a huge save. In the 53rd minute Augusto Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Barcena, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Fan Yong Zhan with Eustacio Antonucci as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. CRUZ DEL SUR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of U. de Tarapacá for a fine match.
