The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, FSX UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Seran Turres came free, but Ye Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, FSX UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Kvist to maneuver through the defense. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ksawery Witkowski made a huge save. 18 minutes into the game, Juan Mondaca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ye Wei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. Ksawery Witkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Matetich, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, FSX UNITED's Evelio Matetich dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Evelio Matetich kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ksawery Witkowski made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Svend Betz sent off a good shot on target. Svend Betz in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ksawery Witkowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomás Thompson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magallanes's protests and gave Tomás Thompson a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Thompson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svend Betz to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Cochrane in the 52nd minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Betz in the 52nd minute of play. Liu Peng Cheng kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FSX UNITED's goalkeeper Ye Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Matetich in the 56th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ksawery Witkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. FSX UNITED made a substitution. Mircea Popilean replaced Evelio Matetich. Magallanes made a substitution. Peio Raggio replaced Juan Mondaca. FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas was substituted for Thomas Cochrane. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 73rd minute of play. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Baesler in the 75th minute of play. Amancio Baesler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ksawery Witkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Baesler in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Liu Peng Cheng got a free kick in the 86th minute. Seran Turres, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to FSX UNITED getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Karl-Åke Kvist hit a great ball. In the 89thth minute of the game Amancio Baesler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The FSX UNITED fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when FSX UNITED's Amancio Baesler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the FSX UNITED players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
