Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Homer Booth took the kick off in the first half of the match. Timothy Gaudreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Cooley having to interfere. Rod Cooley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Homer Booth, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Edgar FC's Boyd Alvarado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léopold Benoit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boyd Alvarado got free with Léopold Benoit in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Homer Booth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homer Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rod Cooley having to interfere. Homer Booth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rod Cooley having to make a save. After 27 minutes of play, Mildmay AFC's Timothy Gaudreau made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rod Cooley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arden Dupre hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Boyd Alvarado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arden Dupre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léopold Benoit having to interfere. Edgar FC's Daren Crum shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Léopold Benoit but with some difficulty. In the 43rd minute, Miguel Patton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léopold Benoit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Dupre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arden Dupre to make the kick off. Rod Cooley was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Timothy Gaudreau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timothy Gaudreau really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Homer Booth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mildmay AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Booth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rod Cooley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Mildmay AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Noé Lamothe hit a great ball. Rod Cooley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Booth in the 73rd minute of play. Edgar FC's Rod Cooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homer Booth in the 74th minute of play. Rod Cooley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Homer Booth went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes Edgar FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Boucher. 84 minutes into the match, Mildmay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arden Dupre came free, but Léopold Benoit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rod Cooley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timothy Gaudreau went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Edgar FC. Teddy Larivière stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Léopold Benoit. 1-4. Mildmay AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
