Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) When Murray Lajoie came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Bitumount AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murray Lajoie couldn't finish the play. Royal Shearer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Léopold Benoit having to make a save. Royal Shearer struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Léopold Benoit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bitumount AFC. 23 minutes into the match, Mildmay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Murray Lajoie came free, but Léopold Benoit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timothy Gaudreau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hong Chouinard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Royal Shearer took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Léopold Benoit. Léopold Benoit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Timothy Gaudreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hong Chouinard having to interfere. Homer Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hong Chouinard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Kelvin Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Mathew Escobedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Léopold Benoit skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mildmay AFC's zone, Murray Lajoie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léopold Benoit came out of the goal and Murray Lajoie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léopold Benoit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royal Shearer in the 43rd minute of the match. If Murray Lajoie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Hong Chouinard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Booth in the 55th minute of play. Timothy Gaudreau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bitumount AFC's goalkeeper Hong Chouinard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Royal Shearer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mildmay AFC's keeper Léopold Benoit was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Miguel Patton hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Bitumount AFC's Mathew Escobedo was responsible for 0-2 with a brilliant performance in the 77th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Léopold Benoit. Murray Lajoie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
