The audience thought a goal was coming when Shaun Cooke got free with Séverin Romero in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ron Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Woodstock booed when Edgar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffrey Arcouet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar FC's Séverin Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Dempsey in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Edgar FC booed when Woodstock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jérémie Mireault didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Byron Ritter sped through Woodstock's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donn Carroll. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
