After a defensive mix-up in Colebrook FC's zone, Byron Ritter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kim Short came out of the goal and Byron Ritter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Byron Hodge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kim Short was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Harris Tyler kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Léon Hickman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Séverin Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Edgar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corentin Means to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edgar FC's goalkeeper Séverin Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Byron Hodge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edgar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Byron Hodge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Short breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Byron Ritter notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Colebrook FC's Kim Short. Kim Short was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 41 minutes, Daniel Shea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colebrook FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Shea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Daniel Shea lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Séverin Romero. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Kim Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Byron Ritter in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Marcelino Begay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Byron Ritter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kim Short tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kim Short made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Byron Hodge sent off a good shot on target. Prosper Painter hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A long shot from Dalton Beaupré in the 65th minute of play was well struck, but Kim Short made a really good save at the right post. 69 minutes into the match, Edgar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Shea came free, but Séverin Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thierry Cornelius hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Shea in the 74th minute of play forced Edgar FC's goalkeeper Séverin Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Shea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Séverin Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byron Ritter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Daniel Shea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Léon Hickman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josh Hunter during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Colebrook FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Josh Hunter hit a great ball. Kim Short made an important save on a dangerous shot by Byron Hodge in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Marcelino Begay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léon Hickman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
