Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Dubardo kicked off to start the match. Tommie Elliott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Dubardo's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Tommie Elliott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Beauchamps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Dubardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shamattawa's Tommie Elliott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léonce Castle in the 22nd minute of play. If Léonce Castle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marion Marois scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommie Elliott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute, Marion Marois left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inazuma Eleven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Garza was the one to do the kick off. Trent Kerr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terrance Guernon hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Shamattawa's zone, Léonce Castle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommie Elliott came out of the goal and Léonce Castle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnold Cutler hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Joel Dubardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inazuma Eleven fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 76 minutes into the match, Shamattawa's goalkeeper Tommie Elliott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Todd Beauchamps. Joel Dubardos short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Tommie Elliott to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Marion Marois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inazuma Eleven's supporters rose to their feet, but Marion Marois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommie Elliott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the game, Marion Marois recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommie Elliott. Marion Marois showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 86 minutes into the game, Shelby Daugherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shamattawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inazuma Eleven the free kick. A collision led to Shamattawa getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Shelby Daugherty hit a great ball. Joel Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Joachim Garza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shamattawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Garza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Inazuma Eleven could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Shamattawa throughout the match.
