After a defensive mix-up in Quebec AFC's zone, Bryon Dale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Keller came out of the goal and Bryon Dale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Keller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Marshall's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Louiseville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Thad Legault scored to the left of an out of position Maurice Hodges, making the score, 2-0. In the 34th minute, Thad Legault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Quebec AFC's Maurice Hodges threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thad Legault, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thad Legault in the 42nd minute of play forced Louiseville's goalkeeper Maurice Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Greers short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Maurice Hodges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Mohamed Seay kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thad Legault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thad Legault took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Hodges. Maurice Hodges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 73 minutes into the match, Louiseville's Bryon Dale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Keller narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
