Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Dubardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hong Riggs's late challenge caught a Oromocto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hong Riggs helped the player get up and apologised. Léonce Castle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Todd Beauchamps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haywood Scruggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Sears got free with Matthew Stein in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Oromocto's Ali Sears got a free kick in the 17th minute. Haywood Scruggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marion Marois in the 19th minute of the match. Marion Marois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Joel Dubardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Oromocto's Haywood Scruggs. Haywood Scruggs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haywood Scruggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Dubardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marion Marois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haywood Scruggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Dubardo in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Ali Sears made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ali Sears managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oromocto's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Sears was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Stein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Léonce Castle took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Haywood Scruggs to make any attempt to save it. Matthew Stein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daren Phaneuf in the 62nd minute of the match. Todd Beauchamps took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haywood Scruggs. Haywood Scruggs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Joel Dubardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Oromocto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Théophile Riquier to maneuver through the defense. Joel Dubardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Haywood Scruggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Joel Dubardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hong Riggs hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Joel Dubardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haywood Scruggs having to interfere.
