The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Bullard was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noé Acevedo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolph Powell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Noé Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Powell having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Kasey Bain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waskatenau AFC's Roger Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Bullard in the 76th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Waskatenau AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Braeside players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Waskatenau AFC.
