Georges Metcalf started the match with the kick off. Junior Currie kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Reginald McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Reeder having to interfere. Matt Reeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georges Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Joesph Reaves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Matt Reeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reginald McNair in the 24th minute. Matt Reeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Metcalf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Montcerf AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joesph Reaves. Reginald McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Reeder having to interfere. Trent Bourgeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Charlebois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Carlton in the 43rd minute of the match. The Sombra AFC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Sombra AFC's Trent Bourgeau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trent Bourgeau was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Charlebois made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alvin Carlton sent off a good shot on target. When Joseph Lovett fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sombra AFC's protests and gave Joseph Lovett a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Sombra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Lovett. Hugues Lott kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georges Metcalf in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matt Reeder saved Sombra AFC from getting behind. Reginald McNair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sombra AFC's goalkeeper Matt Reeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Montcerf AFC's Georges Metcalf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matt Reeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Montcerf AFC's Junior Currie got a free kick in the 88th minute. Trent Bourgeau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Charlebois having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugues Lott got free with Aurelio Charlebois in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reginald McNair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
