With an all-out effort, Malachi's Lorenzo Keller threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ambrose Lemons, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ahmad Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Malachi got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Rhodes. Quebec AFC's Lorenzo Keller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrose Lemons in the 26th minute of play. Ahmad Fairchild kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Thad Legault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwain Dillon having to interfere. Quebec AFC's Dalton Helms got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Dufresne kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Malachi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quebec AFC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrose Lemons to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Thad Legault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malachi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Dalton Helms scored to the left of an out of position Dwain Dillon, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Malachi booed when Quebec AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalton Helms didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thad Legault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dwain Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 69th minute of the match Dalton Helms completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dalton Helms a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dalton Helms kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Bruno Greer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dwain Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Greer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Keller didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrose Lemons went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the game, Thad Legault cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Dwain Dillon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Greer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quebec AFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Keller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Malachi's goalkeeper Dwain Dillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Greer. Quebec AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Huey Fecteau in the 97th minute. Ferdinand Tanner was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Malachi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quebec AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
