The supporters of Inazuma Eleven booed when Malachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Goguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Joel Dubardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dwain Dillon. Malachi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Dubardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dwain Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Beauchamps in the 29th minute of the match. Marion Marois struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Dwain Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inazuma Eleven. Dwain Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Dubardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marion Marois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dwain Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Val Burkett during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Léonce Castle might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dwain Dillon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léonce Castle ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Dubardo took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dwain Dillon. Dwain Dillon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 63 minutes, Loyd Vadeboncoeur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malachi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loyd Vadeboncoeur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes, Hong Riggs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inazuma Eleven and the Malachi players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Marion Marois came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Inazuma Eleven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marion Marois couldn't finish the play. Joel Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dwain Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marion Marois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inazuma Eleven's Marion Marois got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Léonce Castle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dwain Dillon. The goal made the score 0-4.
