Louiseville's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Marshall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommie Elliott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louiseville's Maurice Hodges proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Louiseville from getting a goal against them. Tommie Elliott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryon Dale in the 15th minute of play. Shelby Daugherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Maurice Hodges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shelby Daugherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Hodges having to interfere. A collision led to Shamattawa getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joachim Garza hit a great ball. Adolfo Marshall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Garza got free with Maurice Hodges in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 38 minutes, Joachim Garza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shamattawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Garza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Shamattawa's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Marshall came free, but Tommie Elliott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shelby Daugherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Hodges having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Shamattawa's Tommie Elliott proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Shamattawa from getting a goal against them. Bryon Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Elliott having to interfere. A collision led to Louiseville getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Valentin Brault hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Louiseville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Brault to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Shamattawa got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Haywood. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Adolfo Marshall got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 88 minutes into the game, Shamattawa's Shelby Daugherty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurice Hodges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Tommie Elliott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Marshall in the 95th minute of play. Shamattawa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
