Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Rey LondeLalonde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matt Reeder having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Sombra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rey LondeLalonde came free, but Matt Reeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rey LondeLalonde took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matt Reeder. Matt Reeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jean Bullard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Sombra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sébastien Montminy. If Jean Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvin Carlton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adolph Powell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean Bullard struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Matt Reeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braeside. Bret Rich hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Braeside's Kasey Bain got a free kick in the 31st minute. A hard shot by Gérard Kane from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Adolph Powell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With an all-out effort, Sombra AFC's Adolph Powell threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Trent Bourgeau, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matt Reeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey LondeLalonde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasey Bain kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Trent Bourgeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adolph Powell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braeside's Adolph Powell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Bourgeau in the 46th minute of play. Rey LondeLalonde scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matt Reeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Braeside were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trent Bourgeau to make the kick off. Rey LondeLalonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Lovett charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Lovett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Alvin Carlton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rey LondeLalonde, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Matt Reeder was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Jean Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Rey LondeLalonde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Braeside's Bret Rich shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matt Reeder but with some difficulty. Matt Reeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey LondeLalonde in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Sombra AFC's goalkeeper Matt Reeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rey LondeLalonde. The supporters of Braeside booed when Sombra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Lovett didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Bullard in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matt Reeder saved Sombra AFC from getting behind. The referee gave Sombra AFC a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gérard Kane, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Braeside's Adolph Powell. 1-2. Trent Bourgeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adolph Powell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Trent Bourgeau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolph Powell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sombra AFC's Matt Reeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Bullard in the 96th minute of play. Braeside were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
