Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the match, Montcerf AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Charlebois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvin Carlton. Reginald McNair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, one of Sombra AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Montcerf AFC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Firmin Redmond, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sombra AFC's Matt Reeder. 0-1. Junior Currie hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Alvin Carlton came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sombra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Carlton couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Alvin Carlton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georges Metcalf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugues Lott kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Reginald McNair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sombra AFC defense, Georges Metcalf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matt Reeder. The Sombra AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matt Reeder should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Montcerf AFC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Junior Currie hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georges Metcalf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Lovett in the 54th minute of play forced Montcerf AFC's goalkeeper Aurelio Charlebois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joesph Reaves during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joesph Reaves kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Montcerf AFC's Aurelio Charlebois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Bourgeau in the 61st minute of play. Montcerf AFC's Georges Metcalf got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Sombra AFC's Matt Reeder got control of the ball when Reginald McNair tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Reginald McNair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montcerf AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sombra AFC the free kick. In the 77th minute, Reginald McNair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvin Carlton in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Charlebois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvin Carlton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Charlebois having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Trent Bourgeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montcerf AFC's Aurelio Charlebois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Montcerf AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
